The Ruby has a very bright 30 lumen output on its brightest setting (High Steady) which lasts for 2 hours. There are five other modes (2 additional steady modes plus three flashing modes) which feature run times of up to 40 hours. The internal Lithium battery re-charges via USB cord with a full charge taking 3 hours. For optimal versatility the Ruby tail light can be mounted to a seatpost via a tool-free mount that allows you to orient the light vertically or horizontally, plus there's an integrated clothing clip on the light for attaching to a pack, bag, or item of clothing.
